ENGLAND'S FORGOTTEN HERO 

How long the tale of Guy of Warwick has been told is impossible to know for certain. Still, it almost certainly existed in the form of oral storytelling long before it undoubtedly passed through monastic hands and finally appeared in written form as Gui de Warewic in the 13th Century.

This publication, ENGLAND’S FORGOTTEN HERO, The noble and renowned history of Guy, Earl of Warwick, is another contribution towards ensuring that Guy’s story is heard once more and regains its rightful place as part of the Matter of England.

Thanks to a 'Sharing Heritage' grant from the National Lottery, the society was able to produce a very modern version of 'Guy of Warwick,' complete with augmented reality animations. Over 1100 copies were distributed free of charge to local schools. This has helped ensure that Guy's story is seen and heard by a new generation. Whilst the free downloadable app that originally accompanied this book has now been discontinued, copies of this magazine can still be obtained for free at selected Guy of Warwick Society events.
